Xavier Cleme Excell Sallie

Xavier C.E. Sallie, age 19, went home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2018.

A lifelong resident of Joliet, Illinois, he was born on July 1, 1998 to Trenell M. Sallie and Cassandra Hervey.

He attended Washington Junior High School and graduated from Joliet Central High School.  Xavier was a wrestler for the Jr. Steelmen, which later evolved into the Will County Warriors. He played football for the Joliet Titans and Sherwood Spartans all the way up to high school. Xavier loved dogs and it was never too cold or too hot for him to be outside.

Xavier is survived by parents Cassandra Hervey and Trenell Sallie; two brothers: Trenell Sallie Jr. and Ena Dorcoo; one sister: Trenasha Sallie; maternal grand parents: Clarence Hervey and Margerat A. Carter of Joliet, IL;  paternal grand parents, Terry Hester and Linda Sallie Hester of Joliet, IL;  God Father: George Copeland; Special friend Geneva and their new baby girl; and a host of other family members, friends.
