William Henry Cole Sr.

William Henry Cole, Sr., was born to Wilma Vance and McLin Cole on August 31, 1940 in Fruitvale, Tennessee. 

He was educated  at Hudson Grove School system in Fruitvale.  William was employed with Material Service for 30 years.  When he retired, he enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and family.

Our Heavenly Father called him home on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Wilma and McLin Cole; two brothers, Dr. Herman W. Wyatt and McLin Cole Jr.; sister, Wilma Thurmand; and special sister-in-law, Sallie Cole.

William is survived by his wife, Ethal Mae Brown; his children, Jeffery Brown, William (Jennifer) Cole Jr.; daughter, Adrian Cole; and  one brother, James (Betty) Cole, all of Joliet IL; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Willie “Sonnyman” and Willie Bee Grady.

Funeral Services 11:00am Friday January19th, 2018 at Mount Ebal Baptist Church
221 Cameron Avenue, Lockport, Illinois 60441.  Visitation 10:00am-11:00am.  Interment at Elmhurst Cemetery, 1212 East Washington Street, Joliet, Illinois, 60433.  Pastor Cornell Ervins, Officiating.
