OBITUARY
Silvester Wallace departed from this earthly life on Saturday, June 10th, 2023 at RML Specialty Hospital in Hinsdale, IL. He was born in Joliet, IL on July 16,1956 to James and Rebecca (nee Smith) Wallace.
He is preceded in death by his parents James and Rebecca Wallace; daughter, LaKesha Wallace; brothers, John L. Wallace, Jim Wallace, and Warren Wallace; two grandsons, Terrance DuWayne Carter Jr. and Marcellus DuWayne Streeter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dottie Wallace; three daughters, Kilya Wallace, Tanesha Wallace, and Shareese Wallace; his only son, Terrance Wallace; 15 grandchildren, Kaprielle Streeter, Makayla Roberts, Malaky Roberts, Kameron Cole, Kevin Cole, McKenzie Cole, Martionna Johnson, Roman Johnson, Melzina Johnson, Kiara Johnson, Donovan Davis, Fredrick Coleman, Andre Coleman, Brooklyn Coleman, and Aaliyah Hudson, 7 great-grandchildren; Marcion Collins, Melanie Collins, Energy Banks, Zeno Gather, Ryland Johnson, Khari Coleman, and Keirah Coleman; one honorary daughter, Tanya Sellers; one honorary son, Emery Reed; one honorary grandson, Joseph Hudson; and, one very special childhood friend Michael Givens.
Papa Wallace, as he was known to many, served as a faithful member in the Greater Bible Way Apostolic Temple. He confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour at an early age and served in various aspects throughout his years as a member under the leadership of Bishop Samuel Allen Sr., Bishop Bryan S. Allen, and Pastor Steffan M. Allen.
