MURIEL ANN JEFFERSON

OBITUARY  

On a beautiful fall day, November 19, 1948, Muriel Ann Jefferson was born to James (Jimmy) and Hortense Jefferson. She was the second of three children born to this union. She made her heavenly transition May 26, 2023.

Muriel was educated in the Joliet School System graduating from Joliet Township East High School, where she was a cheerleader. She continued her education by attending Joliet Junior College and Tuskegee Institute.

Muriel accepted Christ at a young age and enjoyed singing praises unto the Lord.

Muriel is preceded in death by beloved parents, Jimmy and Hortense Jefferson, maternal and paternal grandparents.

Muriel leaves to cherish her memories her brothers; James (Edris) and Maurice (Winter) Jefferson; aunts: Velma, Shirley and Lois Jean Walton; nephew; Hunter Jefferson; her precious cat, Simba; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends; special friends Juanita Lowe and Milvertha Pinnick.
