Gloria Jean Scott

Our Angel, our loving mother, your friend Gloria Jean Scott 74 of Joliet, IL, gained her wings on December 17, 2021. She was born to parents Louis Henry Terry and Hattie Lee Moore on September 24, 1947, in Eudora, Ark. She accepted Christ at a very early age in life. She married Jimmy Scott on March 10, 1969, and remained married until he passed on October 18, 2020. Gloria is survived by three children, Tonya Terry of Atlanta, GA, Joel Sr (Darlene) Scott of Peru, Il, and Fatima Scott of Pine Bluff, AR. Eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers, a host of nieces and nephews. She's proceeded in death by both parents, her husband, her grandson, two sisters, and one brother.

Gloria was a very passionate, caring, and compassionate person.  Also, easy-going but definitely not a pushover. She is Loved, Missed, and will forever be Celebrated for her loving devotion.

Glorias' extended celebration of life will be on January 29, 2022, in Joliet, IL.
