Cedric Lee Howland

Cedric Lee Howland, born January 1, 1949, departed this life at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, IL on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Cedric was the first newborn baby born
at St. Joseph’s Hospital that year. 7th of 9 children, he was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Dorothy Howland; three brothers, Eddie, Terry and Michael;
his sister, Barbara; his daughter, Camela Deon Cameron and his granddaughter, Seantay Howland.

Cedric leaves to cherish his sons, Kevin, Sean and Michael; his brothers, Dennis and Neal; his sisters, Sylvia (James) and Trudi; and a host of nieces, nephews and
numerous cousins and friends.

He was a graduate of Joliet East High School, owner/operator of Ceal Construction and worked in the restaurant and health products industry for many years.

Cedric had a kind and gentle spirit and was known as such to many. He leaves us all with fond memories of his winning smile, positive attitude and desire to see others
live a happy and healthy life.
 

 Funeral arrangements are as follows: 

There will be a Celebration of Life memorial for dear friends of Cedric at Cherlynne’s Chateau, 205 E. Clinton St. Joliet, IL from 12:30-3:00pm with a coinciding repast.
